DC UNITED & THE MADISON HELP COMMUNITY LODGINGS KICK OFF AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
Anilver Amaya was chosen to make the ceremonial kickoff at the September 27 DC United game. Anilver was one of 75 children in our youth program who received free tickets courtesy of The Madison.
WALMART FOUNDATION AND FREDDIE MAC FOUNDATION MAKE SUBSTANTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO SUPPORT OUR HOMELESS FAMILIES
In November Walmart Foundation and Freddie Mac Foundation donated $25,000 and $60,000, respectively, to our Transitional Housing Program. This two-year program provides housing, counseling, workshops and vital services for 14 homeless families in the City of Alexandria. We appreciate the valuable contributions from these foundations that have demonstrated once again why they are true leaders in the fight against homelessness.
WACHOVIA WELLS FARGO FOUNDATION AWARDS $7,500 TO COMMUNITY LODGINGS
